HCFA Claims Option For Box 14 & 15

When processing a paper claim there is an option to control Box 14 and 15. You can now choose which date and qualifier populates with which of the three possible dates (First, Second, Third date qualifiers). This pulls from the dates listed on the charge. The dates on the charge should reflect the dates entered on the dx tab in the patient file. 

Before processing the claim, you go to the setup tab to select HCFA dates. 

Then from the drop down list you select from options, Primary Date, Secondary Date, Third Date. Which date you want to be populated in box 14 and 15.  

Preview the claim to make sure the dates are displayed the way it was selected.
